Disposable non-biodegradable plastic bags were previously adopted for laptop shipment packaging. Under full sealing, residual heat inside laptops and ambient moisture cannot dissipate, leading to condensation inside the bags. Water vapor seeps into the device interior and corrodes the mainboard, ports and cables, further resulting in short circuits and poor contact. In addition, plastic packaging generates static electricity readily: static charges attract dust into device gaps and ports, while intense static electricity may crack the display panel and damage precise internal electronic components.
Replacement Solution: Natural Bamboo Fiber Packaging
- Natural air permeability, bacteria resistance and moisture control: The porous structure of bamboo fiber enables natural ventilation, avoiding heat and moisture trapping that cause damage, short circuits, corrosion and oxidation of electronic components.
- Low static electricity for precise component protection: Bamboo fiber produces far less static electricity than ordinary plastics, preventing dust accumulation in ports and gaps and eliminating the risk of precise component damage from strong static charges.
- Battery protection and improved transportation safety: Superior air permeability avoids local temperature rise or excessive humidity inside the package, slowing down cell aging and bulging and lowering potential battery safety hazards.
- Compostable and highly customizable to meet brand demands: Certified compliant with EN13432 compostability standard, it fully degrades within 180–360 days, keeping pace with the global plastic restriction and sustainable development trend.
